Path of Exile Item Upgrading
Item upgrading allows players to improve their weapons and equipment with new affixes, boosting its base stats or giving additional benefits. To upgrade an item, the player needs to have it in their inventory, as well as access to the kiln.
Items that have weak bases, like rings, can be upgraded into a stronger base. Items with strong bases, like Titans from eth, have no change in their stats.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools, providing an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is used. There are three kinds of upgrade components that are universal upgrades, prefix upgrades, and suffix upgrades. Universal upgrades, which include gems, can be put in any kind of equipment, and offer lower bonuses than upgrade components that are restricted to a specific type. Leveling
Path of Exile's upgrade process is different from previous versions in several important ways. Each upgrade will require the use of a certain amount of Flightstones and crests depending on the current level of the item and the item slot it's in. In general, weapons will require more Flightstones to upgrade than other types of equipment.
If an item fails to reach its max level the NPC will offer players the option to transfer it to another person and then re-infuse the item with another set of upgrades. This process can take up to two hours and costs the same amount of material, though it will have lower chances of success.
To measure the height of a building engineers utilize a level to compare the measurement with a known reference point such as a benchmark or the elevation of the ground. Rerolling
Rerolling refers to the process of altering an item's upgrade components. It is a crucial aspect of the game that can improve the strength, damage or other characteristics. You can do this through the menu for items, or by pressing the Reroll button when you upgrade an item. Rerolling an item can be costly and should be used sparingly.
Reroll tokens are derived by recycling upgraded items. These tokens can be used to upgrade the original item or an similar item. Recyclable items have a gauge that shows the level of upgrade. The amount of level that has been filled is based on the rarity and the upgrade cost of the item.
In the past, some upgrade item s were affixed with priority that made them easier to roll for than other. It meant that you'd get the stats most important to your build more often than others. This included stats like armor's total armour, thorns, and the control impaired duration stats or the weapons' bonus attack speed and crit strike chance.
This was changed in the latest patch. Priority affixes were removed and all upgrades have the identical chance of rolling each statistic. This can be good or bad, based on what you want and need from your equipment.
Each upgraded item may be equipped with a special bonus that boosts the power of the item by a set percentage or flat value. These bonuses are rolled in addition to the standard affixes. The more you upgrade a product, the greater the chance of receiving the bonus of a different kind.
The game also features a number of sets, that offer a set-based bonus when three or more upgraded items from the same set are equipped on an item. This is a great method to give a character a lot more power without spending a lot of money.
